SANDHILL CRANES AT SUNSET
More than 10,000 sandhill cranes over-winter at Bosque del Apache wildlife refuge in New Mexico. I captured this silhouette at sunset, with the fiery colours of the sky reflected in their lagoon. The orientations of these three cranes made a pleasing composition.
