BODIAM CASTLE

The key ingredients in this image are gorgeous, warm light and still air, early on a summer morning. To bring out the reflection of the castle, I used two neutral density filters to cut out 99.6% of the light entering my lens. This enabled me to shoot a 30 second exposure, averaging out any ripples on the surface of the moat and giving it the reflective quality of a perfect mirror.
