CRACKINGTON HAVEN

On this cloudless day, the most attractive light on Crackington Haven on the north Cornish coast came just after sunset. A rising tide was chasing me up the beach, with waves wetting rocks above the waterline. I used a neutral density filter to achieve a shutter speed of 30 seconds, sufficient to smooth out of the water surface and concentrate the viewer's attention on the leading lines formed by the rock ledges running from each corner.
