CLEVEDON PIER

This image was made in early August, when the sun sets in line with Clevedon Pier. Taken at spring high tide, the beach is completely submerged so I selected as foreground a rock onto which water was splashing. Taken in 2009, this was the first image I processed using High Dynamic Range software to bring out detail in the dark rocks whilst retaining tones in the sky.
