BRIMSTONE BUTTERFLY ON BETONY

Brimstones are delightful butterflies, distinctive in both shape and colour. I like the complementary yellow and purple in this image, an instantly pleasing combination. Close inspection reveals the composition was photobombed by a small flying wasp.
