SEVERN BRIDGE BY MOONLIGHT

The first Severn Crossing is the more photogenic of the two and is most easily reached from the south side, on foot along a private road. I thought the bridge would look good by moonlight, with the its lights reflected in wet mud exposed at low tide. From a previous visit I knew the remains of this old jetty would provide foreground interest. On this misty November night the artificial lights and moon light are well balanced to give a pleasing result.
