KIRKJUFJARA BEACH

The focal point of this image is a huge sea stack, with the counterbalancing feature of Reynisdrangar Sea Stacks in the distance. The black sand beach was snow-covered except where powerful waves had washed it clear. There was little colour in this landscape and monochrome conversion shows it well.
