PORTHCAWL IN STORM

Hurricane force winds were forecast for the Bristol Channel on 12 February 2014, so I travelled to Porthcawl for high tide at sunset. Standing on the end of the promenade, I captured this image of a wave breaking over the seawall that links Porthcawl lighthouse to the promenade. Light was fading fast but the dark skies add to the drama of the storm.
