CANOEING GLEN ETIVE

I usually choose an exposure of around 0.5 seconds to capture the feeling of movement in water. Here in the West Highlands a canoeist provided the interest so I set a fast shutter speed and waited until he had reached the point of no return to capture this image. With strong shapes and abundant texture, it lent itself naturally to monochrome.
