DERWENTWATER AT DAWN
In this early morning image of Derwentwater in late October, the sun has risen behind me but has not yet reached Derwent Island, nor the pastel-coloured slopes of Catbells beyond. The image is well-balanced by the gorgeous colours of the sky and their perfect reflection, along with a few foreground boulders near the lakeshore.
