LINDISFARNE CASTLE
Rising out of a rocky crag on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, this castle makes a compelling focal point in a landscape photograph. A rocky, lichen-encrusted shore makes the perfect foreground and a dark, menacing sky completes the scene. The vibrant colour of the lichen works well under overcast light.
