DUNRAVEN BAY

As often seems to happen in the Bristol Channel, a sunny day was followed by clouds racing in from the west to obscure sunset. I thought the opportunity for photography was lost but the camera sensor is more sensitive to colours than the eye. Dunraven Bay, on the spectacular Glamorgan coast, is thronged with people on summer weekends but by 8pm only a single figure was left on the beach, which I think adds to the image.
