INCOMING TIDE, WELCOMBE BEACH

The bold rock ridges of Welcombe Beach lend themselves well to monochrome, especially on an overcast day. I positioned my tripod in a channel as the rising tide surged around it, keeping hold of the camera strap in case the water toppled it over. A 15-second exposure recorded jyst enough texture in the water to give a sense of movement.
