Calendar of the Moon features twelve remarkable images of the Full Moon in iconic landscapes across Britain, from St Michael's Mount in Cornwall to Tower Bridge in London. All were captured in camera by professional photographer Robert Harvey BA ARPS EFIAP CEnv CSci MCIWEM.
2025 sees a Major Lunar Standstill, in which the Moon reaches its extreme rising and setting points in a 18.6 year cycle. The calendar explains this and other lunar cycles, together with the traditional name for each month’s Full Moon. Date boxes throughout the calendar are pre-printed with significant dates of lunar and other Solar System events such as Moon phases, eclipses, conjunctions, occultations and meteor showers during the year.
