BIG CATCH

Skomer is the best place in southern Britain to photograph puffins, which are very confiding of visitors. This one landed close to me, illuminated by early morning light. Lying on the ground to get an eye-level view, I waited until it was looking directly at me to make a well-balanced image of its extraordinary haul of fish.
