Skiddaw and Blencathra viewed from Catbells

Catbells is one of the most distinctive, well-loved and accessible of the Lake District fells. Located alongside Derwentwater it commands fabulous views of several higher peaks including Skiddaw and Blencathra to the north. From the summit, I composed to make the most of a foreground of textured snow side-lit by low winter sun.
