Planetary Parade
There are eight planets in our Solar System and this picture includes seven of them. January 2025 saw an unusual Planetary Parade of Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune simultaneously visible in the evening sky. Uranus and Neptune are too faint to see with the unaided eye but the camera is able to record them. I made this stitched panorama of six overlapping frames each of 13 seconds at f/2.8 and ISO 3200 from within the Stone circle at Stonehenge to capture seven planets in all. Only Mercury was missing from the party!
