Nash Point

Nash Point is one of the most spectacular locations on the Welsh coastline. The intriguing foreground of striated wave-cut platform is only visible around low tide, whilst the cliffs look best illuminated by late evening sun in summer. Arriving as the tide fell, I used a 10-stop neutral density filter to give a 30-second shutter speed, making the water soft in contrast to the hard outlines of the rocks. A brisk wind was blowing and movement has also softened the clouds.
