MOONLIT ROMANCE

I arranged for this couple to stand between two trees on Roundway Down watching September’s Full Moon rising, while I was located at a distance of 2 km. Mobile phone communication enabled me to refine their positioning to avoid the bush midway between the trees, which would have spoiled their silhouette. Using a 600mm lens plus 1.4x teleconverter giving an effective focal length of 840mm, I needed f/11 to get both the couple and the Moon in focus.
