MILKY WAY OVER KYNANCE COVE
This image of Kynance Cove was made as astronomical twilight began in April, giving the sky a bluish tint. The tide was high so my shooting position was the patio of the National Trust cafe. The sky comprises 13 stacked exposures of 20 seconds at f/2 and ISO 3200 made at 5.10am. I continued shooting from the exact same position for an hour until civil twilight, by which time I was able to expose for 1 minute at f/2 and ISO 100, giving much better quality in the foreground.
Sky: 14 light frames and 9 dark frames each at F/2, 20 seconds, ISO 3200. Foreground: F/2, 60 seconds, ISO 100
