BURNHAM ON SEA LIGHTHOUSE AT NIGHT
Photographed at midnight three days before full moon, gibbous moonlight does not overwhelm the stars. By shooting at F/4 and limiting shutter speed to 20 seconds, the stars appear as points of light rather than trails. The distinctive constellation of Auriga including Capella, the sixth brightest star in the sky, can be seen to the left of the lighthouse.
F/4, 20 seconds, ISO 1600
