ROCKHOPPER PENGUINS IN SURF

I am amazed by the resilience of rockhopper penguins. Carried in huge waves, it looks as if they will be dashed to pieces on rocks. But having clambered out of the water unscathed, they frequently jump straight back in for another exhilarating experience. I made this composition from a high vantage point using a 400mm lens and converted it to monochrome.
