GENTOO PENGUIN LANDFALL
Surf is danger zone for penguins as predatory sea lions may be lurking. The best defence is to burst from the sea and run up the beach as fast as they can. Their speed and unpredictabilty makes this tricky to photograph. My shutter speed of 1/1,600th second has caught the action at the moment the penguin is reflected in a wet beach.
