SUNRISE, DIAMOND BEACH

Sunrise in south-east Iceland in early February is after 9am. I found this curiously shaped lump of ice cast up on Diamond beach, waited for a wave to encircle it and shot bracketed exposures to retain detail in both the dark foreground and bright sky.
