Stonehenge
Aerial photography requires wide apertures and fast shutter speeds to counter vibration, the opposite combination to most terrestrial landscapes. I made this image on a July evening during an assignment for Wiltshire Life magazine. The pilot made two orbits of Stonehenge for me to capture all angles. This is my favourite, the monument side lit and the outer trilithons casting long shadows.
