Freezing Fog, Woodborough Hill
The harmony of this picture is enhanced by hard frost in the foreground and freezing fog beyond Woodborough Hill. Half an hour after sunrise, shadows rake across the landscape, emphasising the soft contours of this much-loved landmark in the Vale of Pewsey. Woodborough Hill is a chalk outlier within the softer greensand of the Vale of Pewsey.
