LLYNNAU CREGENNEN REFLECTIONS
Llynnau Cregennen is a beautiful lake west of Cadair Idris. Over the course of a week I made three visits at sunrise and this was my favourite. Perfectly still water reflected an entrancing sky. I would not usually compose with the reflection line through the middle of the image but in this case the strength of the sky seemed to justify it, making a slightly abstract composition. My fisheye lens at 15mm enabled inclusion of both Pared y Cefn Hir (the conical hill on the left) and Cadair Idris (partly under cloud on the right).
