GODREY ISLAND IN STORM
The third major storm of February 2014 hit Cornwall on 8 February. The following morning, the wind had swung round to the west, exposing the north coast to the biggest waves so I travelled to Godrevy. After waiting three hours, I got the combination of sunlit lighthouse, dark sky and breaking waves that I was seeking.
