LOCHAN NA H’ACHLAISE

On a bitterly cold March morning on Rannoch Moor, the newly risen sun disappeared into a bank of mist. Searching along the banks of this lochan for inspiration, I liked the simplicity of this composition. A line of rocks and solitary tree are the anchors in a subdued landscape of snow, water and ice.
