FROSTY MORNING, OLD MAN OF STORR

Starting two hours before sunrise, I led a group ascending The Storr to capture golden light on the Old Man and his neighbouring rock pinnacles. Overnight hail was scattered over the ground which, together with a hard frost, brought the foreground to life. I like the way that the first few minutes of sunlight play on the contours of frosted ground.
