VIEW TO BUTTERMERE
For a different take on this classic Lake District scene I stood just a few metres from Warnscale Bothy and used my fisheye lens. With the resulting ultra-wide view, the bothy and slate dominate the foreground and the landscape appears even more expansive. There is interesting texture in the sky and an interplay of light and shadow around Buttermere in the distance.
