CASTLERIGG STONE CIRCLE IN SNOW

A chilly start at Castlerigg Stone Circle in Cumbria before sunrise. The road was treacherous so I walked from Keswick to be rewarded by pristine untrodden snow. To get a sense of depth in my image, I walked into the stone circle and photographed the densest concentration of stones using a 24mm lens.
