MOUNTAIN HARE RUNNING

When disturbed, mountain hares rely on speed to avoid predators. I was fortunate that this one ran uphill across my field of view, enabling me to get focus locked on. I had pre-set a fast shutter speed to freeze the movement of a running hare.
