LEAPING ROE DEER
We were at the edge of a field waiting for a barn owl to hunt during my Bustards, Butterflies and Barn Owls Wildlife Photography Tour when I turned around and noticed a roe deer wandering around the adjacent field. Because we were screened by vegetation, it was unaware of us and I was able to capture a shot as it bounded through long grass in golden evening light. I loke the soft focus framing resulting from shooting through tall vegetation just a few metres away using my 840mm lens.
