LARGE MARSH GRASSHOPPER

Britain's largest grasshopper inhabits acid bogs; I found this one in Purbeck and lay down in the bog to get an eye-level view. Careful choice of angle and aperture enabled me to show the grasshopper sharp fully in focus and the background diffuse.
