Wild Boar

Wild boar are native British mammals which were hunted to extinction around the 17th Century. In recent years they have escaped from captivity and become re-established as a wild species in several locations, particularly the Forest of Dean. I waited several hours for this one to emerge from the forest and adopted a low shooting position for an imposing look.
