Rydal Water Boathouse

Careful positioning of the camera enables this much-loved boathouse to be framed by the branches of an oak tree on the opposite side of Rydal Water. I have tried this composition on many previous occasions but this time the light, golden leaves and reflection came together perfectly. To achieve sharpness in both foreground and background, I took two identical frames and focus stacked them.
