Leaping Roe Deer
I was watching a barn owl when I noticed this roe deer in an adjacent field. Raising my tripod to its maximum height I could just get a view through intervening vegetation, which largely screened me from its view. The deer started running towards me so I fired off a burst of shots, one of which caught it in mid-leap. I was pleased with the soft focus effect around the perimeter of the image, the result of shooting through foreground vegetation with a 840mm lens at f/5.6.
