Lavender at Sunrise

Side-lighting skimming the tops of these lavender rows in Somerset just after sunrise shows their form, shape and colour to best advantage. That sense of shape, receding lines of the rows and trees at different distances all contribute to the feeling of three dimensions in a two-dimensional image.
