Banded Demoiselles

Male and female banded demoiselles beside the River Marden in Wiltshire. I visited at sunrise when the damselflies had a delicate coating of overnight dew and before they had warmed up enough to fly. Careful positioning of the camera enabled both to be fully sharp at f/8.
