FULL MOON SETTING OVER STONEHENGE

This image of April's Full Moon setting behind Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain was carefully planned. I positioned myself 850m from the stones and calculated the F/stop needed to get both monument and moon in focus using telephoto lens at 400mm. To make this image, I waited for the moment when the Moon seems to be resting on a sarsen stone.
